My name is Mrs Casey, and I am one of the primary 5 teachers. There will be 16 fantastic children in my class this year. 

This year, in Literacy, we will cover a wide variety of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and comprehension. We will be putting an emphasis on handwriting and creative writing.

In Numeracy, we will follow the White Rose Maths program. We will also concentrate on learning the times tables.

Our topics for World Around Us will be Space, Water, Bridges, The World We Live In and Egypt.

We will also continue our Accelerated Reading.

Primary five will have P.E on Tuesday and Friday. On that day, they can wear tracksuit trousers to school. We will also attend Mass at 11:00am every Tuesday.

Homework for primary five will be given in written form and also set via Google Classroom.
