Catholic Schools' Week
This week marked Catholic schools’ week in the Derry Diocese. The boys and girls had many opportunities to learn about its importance and to partake in a number of activities and events which reinforce the Catholic ethos of our school. On Wednesday, we held a special mass for grandparents and other significant people. This offered the children a chance to recognise and thank these ‘VIPs’ for everything they do for us. Also on Wednesday, to mark St. Brigid’s Day, a special morning was held for the making of St. Brigid’s crosses – grandparents and other significant people came together with some of our boys and girls to partake in the age-old tradition of making crosses. #Catholicschoolsweek
